The SAS ODBC driver does not appear in the ODBC Data Source Administrator Drivers Tab because the SAS 9.2 Server is running 64-bit and the SAS ODBC driver is 32-bit.
On x64 Windows platforms, the operating system keeps track of 32-bit and 64-bit data sources in different places. If you use the ODBC Administrator in the Control Panel to set up the data source, it is using 64-bit drivers and storing the data source in the 64-bit location.
If you are using a 32-bit application, then you have to launch the administrator (odbcad32.exe) from the C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64 directory. Creating a System DSN in this location should allow the user to see the data source in 32-bit SAS.
